3 Gig Sunday -- With a Cherry on Top Please

Sunday, April 11, 2010

Once the season hits here in sunny Florida, things get rompin'. The trio has been working, what feels like, non-stop. This is the second Sunday in a row where there have been 3 gigs squeezed into the day at hand. And as I type this, I feel like my ears are going to fall off.

However, we are talking about art form here. My art. The skill that I have spent a large portion of my life-force hedging into shape. I am so proud of the group, and the giant strides we have made since we began years ago. We are exploring new things each time we play, and growing in more ways than one.

Today I played in Seagrove during the morning, and then 2 gigs, back to back, in Rosemary Beach. I've consumed more coffee than ought to be legally allowed, and now I am experiencing a considerable nervous system crash.

Is it worth it? You better believe it.
